For approximately six years, David collaborated with the founders of Sossego to establish the visual identity of the emerging Brazilian furniture brand as it entered the American market. His contributions were diverse and impactful, with his creative direction playing a pivotal role. Working closely with Brazilian artisans and manufacturers, the team crafted a market-specific offering that met the demands of commercial applications while retaining the comfort, feel, and aesthetic typically associated with residential furniture, lighting, and accessories.

The term Sossego [so-SAY-go] is a Portuguese word that embodies a uniquely Brazilian way of life, characterized by easygoing warmth and bliss. This philosophy aligns seamlessly with David's design ethos: transforming spaces into serene sanctuaries through designs that promote tranquility and well-being. His approach artfully combines aesthetic beauty with emotional comfort, ensuring each space becomes a peaceful retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.
